Signup4Peace began with a simple question: when war dominates the news and decisions are made far above us, what can an ordinary person actually do?
The founder story
The idea emerged when the war in Ukraine and the violence in Israel and Palestine made one feeling impossible to ignore. It is easy to discuss war, but difficult to find a concrete action open to everyone. Signup4Peace became one way to act—small alone, potentially powerful together.
Wars are decided from the top. Peace must also rise from below.
A different role
Military alliances protect states and their members. Signup4Peace does not compete with or replace the UN, NATO, diplomacy, international law or humanitarian work. Its role is different: making the voices of people visible across borders, alliances and opposing sides.
